The seasoned actor introduced himself and Rajan to fans on Instagram, captioning the video, “Friends, today I’d like to introduce you to a very dear friend of mine, Mr. Rajan Lal.” He is well-known to many, and he has been of great assistance to my career. When I was having trouble navigating Mumbai’s roads, Mr. Rajan was the one who helped me, and I am very grateful for that. This is especially true when you’re at your lowest and nobody is there to support you.

He went on, “He gave me food and the courage to go on as I was being shoved about in the city’s alleys all the time. I’m visiting him at his Dubai home today, after 39 years apart.” “What do you remember about me from back then?” he inquired, turning to face his companion.

Rajan smiled and said, “I remember Anupam from back then. He used to drive by car and ring the bell at my home. He used to wear a white kurta pajama. My little apartment on the ground level was home to me. I used to bring him over and feed him breakfast there; it was kind of like an outhouse or garage. He worked and lived in my place; he had food and shelter there.I used to listen to him and assist when I could, regardless of his needs.

“He used to listen to me a lot,” the veteran actor stated in response.

“Yeah, I used to listen to him, and I was really taken by his passion and dedication,” Rajan said. His devotion has made him the guy he is today. Then “Saaransh” occurred, and Mr. Bhatt expelled him. When I was at NFBC, I made an offer of Rs. 10 lakh, stating that it might be utilized to produce an excellent film. This was before “Saaransh” was released.

“Those were some of my greatest days ever—I recall all the struggling actors, like Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, and Kulbhusan Kharbanda, who used to sleep at my apartment, this small garage. I could not be more pleased of Anupam now that I see where he has come with his enthusiasm and hard work—having done over 540 films, to be sure—and how successful he has become.

The “The Kashmir Files” actor said, “I think many of you can relate to this, it’s because no one helps you during your struggles, and those who do they become a part of your lives, they shape it no matter where you go.” The two guys, despite reconnecting after so many years, were as close as ever. I am really grateful to Rajan, and he has greatly contributed to where I am now. Jai Ho!

“Rajan Lal; a friend, a helper I met this time in Dubai after 39 years,” the user captioned the photo. The circumstances were bad in 1982 when I was searching for employment in Mumbai, and the filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt, resided in a tiny apartment under his home. I had nice ones all the time!

They used to handle breakfast and other things too! In essence, he treated me well all the time! And then #Saaransh took place! But Rajan’s generosity and goodwill stayed with me forever! It was so amazing to finally see him in Dubai after 39 years. “Dear Rajan, I am so grateful for your support during my difficult times,” he continued.
